Form and Duration

The postgraduate program MBA programmes of the Edinburgh Business School of Heriot Watt University are offered throughout Greece. Students have the unique possibility to choose the format and duration (Full time, Part time, Flexible Distance Learning, Online) always with full support from iCon and EBS.

The teaching sessions are live (i.e. not pre-made videos), the students have full two-way live communication both with the lecturers and with each other, full state-of-the-art educational materials (regularly updated by the University), workshops for exam preparation, question solving, analysis of exam topics of previous exams, etc. The teaching sessions are held at specially selected times (19:30 – 22:00), to serve people who are working at the same time, but attendance is not mandatory. With this method, all students, regardless of their place of residence and personal, work, etc. obligations, have the possibility of live teaching. Also, in addition to group sessions and special repeat meetings, students receive individual guidance and counselling throughout the course of their studies. There are many intakes during each year!

Individual Modules (courses) Option

EBS enables registration to individual modules (courses). Upon successful completion of each one, the student receives a Certificate of Academic Achievement from the University, for the subject of interest.

In addition, completing courses at his own pace, he can get the Postgraduate Certificate in 3 courses, the Postgraduate Diploma in 6 courses and the full postgraduate degree (MBA) in 9 courses!

The program is offered in a very flexible format and each student can decide to adjust the study time according to the respective needs. The MBA in Finance consists of 11 courses, of which 7 are compulsory (core courses) and 4 are optional (elective courses).

  • Financial Decision Making
  • Delivering Successful Projects Management
  • Developing and Executing Strategy

The optional courses are (selection of 4):

  • Corporate Governance

  • Derivatives
  • Financial Risk Management
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Quantitative Methods

Tuition & Benefits

There is great flexibility in the payment of tuition fees as it can be done either per course (whenever one decides to register) or in instalments during the program. Tuition includes all services, teaching sessions, educational materials, access to the University's online services, as well as all support provided by iCon and the University.
